Key Responsibilities for Senior Specialist, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)
- Design, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools across the enterprise.
- Ensure consistent and effective project governance aligned to business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Support the EPMO manager in overseeing the project portfolio—monitoring progress, risks, budgets, and resource utilisation.
- Review and challenge business cases, benefit realisation plans, and project proposals for strategic alignment and value delivery.
- Produce regular portfolio reports and dashboards, providing insights and analysis on project status, interdependencies, and KPIs to senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing EPMO process enhancements and lessons learned.
- Facilitate project prioritisation, demand management, and resource allocation in collaboration with key business and technology leaders.
- Promote knowledge sharing and upskilling in project management best practices throughout the organisation.
- Coordinate quality reviews, audits, and compliance checks for projects and programmes.
- Champion a culture of transparency, accountability, and delivery excellence.
Essential Qualifications and Experience for EPMO Senior Specialist Roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Masters or PMP/Prince2 (preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in project/portfolio management, including roles within an EPMO or PMO.
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and portfolio reporting methodologies.
- Experience supporting large-scale, cross-functional projects—ideally within the real estate, property, or investment sectors.
- Proficient in PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tools, reporting platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English required.
