We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our team and help shape exceptional user experiences across our digital products and services. The ideal candidate is a seasoned researcher who has worked across complex projects, led usability testing, and applied UX best practices and methodologies to inform design decisions.
You must have hands-on experience with usability testing, knowledge of the Nielsen Norman Group’s 10 usability heuristics, and a solid understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct user research studies including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
- Apply Nielsen’s 10 Usability Heuristics during evaluations and testing to identify UX issues and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to translate research findings into actionable insights.
- Lead the development of user personas, journey maps, and experience frameworks.
- Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle and influence design strategy with evidence-based insights.
- Present clear, concise, and compelling research findings to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Mentor junior researchers and support UX research knowledge sharing across the organization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in UX research, preferably within digital product teams or agencies.
- Proven track record of applying Nielsen's usability heuristics in real-world testing and evaluations.
- Deep understanding of UX best practices and human-centered design principles.
- Strong experience with research planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, Maze, or similar.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in agile environments or design sprints.
- Background in psychology, HCI, design, or related fields.
- Certification from NN/g or similar UX institutions is a plus.
