This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:
Support development of sustainability and climate strategies across projects.- Advise on energy, carbon, water, waste, and sustainable materials.
- Guide design teams on environmental constraints and NZC strategies.
- Review sustainability documents and ensure compliance with standards (LEED, MOSTADAM, ISO 14001).
- Analyze embodied carbon, energy, water, and waste data.
- Support bid processes and client engagement.
- Promote innovation and share best practices across teams.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend sustainable technologies.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge transfer.
- Stay current on sustainability trends and drive continuous improvement.
You’ll need to have:
- Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
- Preferred membership in professional bodies (e.g., IEMA, CIEMA, ICE, RICS)
- LEED AP or equivalent certification with experience in building sustainability standards.
- Postgraduate engineering qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in sustainability and environmental management.
- Proven track record across at least 5 major projects.
- Additional certifications in Net Zero Carbon (NZC) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and compliance standards.
- Ability to lead strategic initiatives aligned with global and regional goals.
- Skilled in translating technical sustainability concepts into practical applications.
