Job Description
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing and managing various aspects of our construction projects. Working closely with project managers and stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, driving excellence in construction practices, and mentoring junior members of the site engineering team.
- On-Site Management:
- Supervise all on-site construction activities, including but not limited to structural installations, concrete works, and infrastructure development.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Quality Control:
- Implement robust quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and construction quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations or deficiencies.
- Schedule Adherence:
- Monitor project progress and milestones and ensure adherence to the project schedule.
- Proactively identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site personnel, including engineers, supervisors, and laborers.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage teamwork to achieve project objectives.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between on-site teams, project management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of Safety and Environmental Regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in site engineering roles, preferably with exposure to large-scale construction projects.
- Strong exposure on large-scale construction projects, particularly in stadium construction.
- Additional languages, especially Arabic can be a plus.
- Open to work across all countries of the Middle East.
