Responsibilities
- Lead the entire project life cycle for the Grand Mosque, ensuring that it aligns with architectural vision, cultural significance, and community needs.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that detail timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, cultural experts, and contractors to guarantee the highest quality outcomes and adherence to design specifications.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including government officials, community members, and project teams.
- Manage the procurement process for materials and services, negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Champion innovation and best practices in project management, ensuring that the project reflects the values and aspirations of the community.
- Ensure a strong emphasis on safety and environmental sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on large-scale cultural or religious structures.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Deep understanding of architectural principles, construction methods, and cultural heritage considerations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding diverse and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Familiarity with local regulations, code compliance, and safety standards applicable to large construction projects.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is highly desirable.
- Experience in community engagement and stakeholder management is a plus.
