Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Manager to join our team! In this role you will support the delivery of the project , with a strong focus on utility-heavy scopes including large Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) , pumping stations , substations , and extensive utility diversions . The successful candidate will play a key role in managing construction execution and coordination while acting on behalf of The Engineer under the contract.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead and manage on-site construction activities across multiple work fronts, ensuring adherence to design, schedule, and quality standards.
Act as the Engineer’s Representative on-site, ensuring contractor compliance with technical specifications and contract requirements.
Oversee the construction of major infrastructure assets including WTPs, pumping stations, substations, and public realm elements.
Coordinate and manage complex utility diversions in a live environment, minimizing service disruptions.
Monitor contractor performance, progress, and safety compliance, and escalate issues as needed.
Interface with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and construction challenges.
Ensure implementation of QA/QC procedures and safety protocols across all construction activities.
Support the Project Director in reporting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred) with 20 years of experience in construction management of large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects.
Proven experience in public realm, utilities, and heavy infrastructure construction.
Strong understanding of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks and experience acting on behalf of The Engineer.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills in a multi-contractor environment.
Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience in the Middle East or similar environments is highly desirable.
