Job Summary
The SAP Fiori Expert is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of SAP Fiori applications across SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA and ECC-based systems. This role involves managing UX initiatives, modernizing SAP interfaces through responsive, role-based apps, and ensuring seamless integration with back-end systems via SAP Gateway and OData services.
The role combines team leadership, hands-on development, client interaction, and solution architecture responsibilities. A strong understanding of SAPUI5 framework, Fiori Elements, CDS Views, and backend authorization structures is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of SAP Fiori projects for both custom and standard applications
Define Fiori architecture, launchpad roles, catalogs, and groups
Develop custom SAPUI5 applications using BAS or Web IDE
Extend and adapt standard Fiori apps using available extension points
Design and build OData services or expose CDS views for Fiori consumption
Collaborate with SAP functional teams to define app logic and UX behavior
Ensure adherence to SAP Fiori design principles and performance best practices
Configure SAML, SSO, and secure access to Fiori Launchpad
Support deployment to SAP BTP or on-premise environments
Maintain documentation, perform unit testing, and ensure transport governance
Lead UAT, end-user training, and post-go-live support
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Fiori Application Developer
Certifications in SAPUI5, SAP BTP, or SAP Extension Suite are a plus
Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
Experience
8–12 years of experience in SAP development, with at least 5 years in Fiori/UI5 projects
Minimum 2 years in a leadership or team management role
Hands-on delivery of Fiori applications in S/4HANA and/or ECC systems
Experience integrating Fiori apps with business processes across modules (FI, MM, SD, HR)
At least 5 years of Experience in the Banking Sector

Strong skills in:
SAPUI5 / JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS
Fiori Elements / Smart Controls / XML Views
OData Services & CDS Views
Experience with SAP Gateway, annotations, and RESTful ABAP programming
Proficient in Fiori Launchpad setup, app tiles, catalogs, and groups
Experience in BTP-based deployment and version control tools (e.g., Git)
Good understanding of SAP security, role mapping, and authorization objects
Performance tuning, offline support, and cross-platform optimization
Soft Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills for client engagement
Analytical thinking and attention to UX design and usability standards
Leadership and mentoring abilities within technical teams
Project planning, task breakdown, and risk management capability
Effective documentation and collaborative working style
Work Environment & Conditions
Consulting environment with multiple parallel development tracks
Travel may be required within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Collaboration with SAP functional consultants, UX designers, and BASIS teams
Participation in workshops, sprint planning, reviews, and cutover cycles
Continuous learning through SAP updates, training, and developer certifications
