OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:
The Cluster Social Media Manager for Rosewood Red Sea and Rosewood Amaala, located along Saudi Arabia’s pristine west coast, is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive guest interest in both properties. This role focuses on creating compelling, culturally resonant content that aligns with Rosewood’s ultra-luxury standards and Amaala’s vision of holistic wellness, sustainability, and regenerative tourism. Reporting to the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, the Cluster Social Media Manager will lead social media initiatives to strengthen brand loyalty and support business objectives in one of the world’s most exclusive luxury markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) to increase follower engagement by a minimum of 15% year-over-year and drive direct bookings for both properties.
- Create, curate, and manage high-quality, visually compelling content that reflects the cultural heritage of the Red Sea region and Amaala’s wellness-focused vision.
- Collaborate with the marketing, PR, and creative teams to ensure social media content aligns with Rosewood’s global brand standards and resort-wide promotional campaigns.
- Manage social media budgets, optimizing ad spend and influencer partnerships to maximize ROI while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Implement sustainable social media practices, such as digital-first campaigns and eco-conscious content, in alignment with Amaala’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
- Monitor social media analytics and KPIs, using tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Google Analytics to track performance, optimize strategies, and report on engagement metrics.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and inquiries, and manage online communities to foster positive brand interactions and maintain a minimum of 90% positive sentiment in social media feedback.
- Coordinate with influencers, content creators, and media partners to amplify brand reach and showcase the unique offerings of Rosewood Red Sea and Rosewood Amaala.
- Ensure compliance with Rosewood’s brand guidelines, local regulations, and platform-specific policies in all social media activities.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing social media trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to refine content strategies and enhance audience engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field; certifications in social media marketing or digital content creation are a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in social media management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role within a luxury hotel, resort, or wellness-focused brand.
- Proven ability to create engaging, high-quality content and manage social media campaigns that drive brand awareness and audience interaction.
- Strong understanding of luxury travel, wellness, and lifestyle trends, with a passion for crafting visually appealing and culturally relevant social media content.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social), analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics), and content creation software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or additional languages is a plus.
