Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates for projects.
- Perform accurate quantity take-off from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
- Review and analyze quotations and bids.
- Draft and administer contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor actual costs versus budgeted costs.
- Evaluate and process variation orders.
- Prepare periodic financial and progress reports.
- Assist in resolving claims and financial disputes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in cost management and quantity surveying software (Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, CostX).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
