QA/QC Engineer - Full Time - Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for a/an QA/QC Engineer to join our CT_MTCS team in Saudi Arabia .

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Drive adherence to company procedures and quality standards as documented in the MTCS ME IMS Manuals.
• Managing QA/QC & its inspections of the project as per Customer standards & procedures
• Audit new sub-suppliers (Visiting supplier premises), when requested by QESH/Q.A Manager , and report on suitability.
• Assist with all Quality assurance aspects during the compilation of tenders.
• Ensuring the Project meets all requirements of the client’s standards & procedures.
• Attending daily and weekly review meetings and setting strategies for achieving milestones with the customer.
• Maintaining of Project quality index (PQI) score above 90% for the project
• Issuance of advance CPAR (Corrective & preventive action request) within the organization for maintaining the quality of the project in line & also to avoid issuance of client NCR.
• Closing of NCR, logbook entry from the customer side
• Lead and facilitate daily toolbox meetings to ensure all site personnel are fully aware of planned activities, potential QESH hazards, and quality standards, thereby promoting safe execution and adherence to specifications
• Collaborate closely with Project Management and Operations teams, providing timely QA/QC updates and support to facilitate efficient project workflow and successful deliveryOn award of contract, assist in the execution of the order in accordance with Sulzer Chemtech quality manual.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers, and coordinate with internal Sulzer Chemtech engineers on critical QC issues as appropriate.
• Review/Create/manage construction documentation for project quality plans / ITP’s (Inspection & Test Plans), engineering drawings, etc. All as necessary to meet project requirements.

Monthly MIS inputs

• Support the growth of other services introduced to our service portfolio.
• Follow Sulzer QESH policy and control all incidents & near misses at work location.

• Foster a proactive safety & quality culture by actively encouraging safety & quality observations and ensuring the comprehensive reporting of all Nonconformance, Defects ,Near misses and Incidents.
• Collaborate with the QESH audit team to ensure the quality and readiness of all required documentation for effective audit execution.
• Knowledge & Skills based on Organization Maintenance scope requirements such as ASME other Middle East customer specific Standards & codes requirements.
• Develop and deliver specialized technical training programs (Supporting AWO training school) to the entire team and welders, enhancing their competence in critical processes, welding procedures, and quality control standards.
• Lead daily quality toolbox talks for the entire crew, proactively communicating critical quality expectations and standards relevant to the job at hand.
• Foster a culture of quality and compliance through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement new WPS(Welding Procedure Specification) / PQR(Procedure Qualification Record) and job specific demo .

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Education: Level: Bachelor Subject: Certifications: University Degree in engineering or business discipline and/or QA/QC Certification
• Languages: English with knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Soft skills: MS Office.
