In this Project Engineer- Hospitality and Construction Logistics position
Project Management & Coordination
- Manage full lifecycle of FF&E and OS&E handling projects, from planning to final installation.
- Develop detailed project execution plans including timelines, resource needs, and operational steps.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to prepare pick lists and schedule dispatches.
- Plan, manage, and monitor manpower allocation and daily site activities.
Site Operations
- Supervise and control all site operations related to delivery, staging, and installation of FF&E and OS&E.
- Coordinate last mile logistics and ensure timely, safe delivery to designated areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all phases of work.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the main point of contact at site for clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Lead regular on-site meetings and progress discussions with stakeholders.
- Provide clear and consistent updates to all involved parties regarding project status.
- Follow best practices for PPE use and safe work practices adherence
- Develop and formulate plans for scheduled facility modifications, analyze equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs
- Prioritize and coordinate work produced by the team and ensure company standards
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Prepare budgets and manage project costs effectively.
- Source, evaluate, and procure services and equipment as required.
- Negotiate with vendors and service providers for cost-effective and timely deliveries.
Documentation & Reporting
- Develop method statements, risk assessments, and other technical documentation for client approval.
- Submit regular progress reports and deviation logs to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate site records including delivery notes, installation logs, and issue trackers.
Execute operational plan and have specific areas of accountability in its execution.
