Job Description
Develop products by identifying potential products; conduct market research; generate product requirements; determine specifications, production timetables, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; develop product roadmaps and strategies.
Key Accountabilities:
1 - Product Ideation & funnel management:
- Develop the company’s annual product development master plan
- Lead the cross-fucntional core team to deliver on their specific tasks related to product development following the company strategy
- Manage product ideas in the idea funnel and prioritize based on specific set of rating factors to expedite into conceptualization and into development
- Identify the development path (Fast vs staged) based on the idea evaluation, due-diligence and leadership feedback.
- Analyze trends and behavior of our existing customers
- Develop product concepts/prototypes and ideas based on the customer and market insights
- Manage the concept test research in coordination with the research team
- Coordinate with the business advisory function on the potential of product concepts
- Coordinate with pricing team to determine product pricing based on competitors prices and internal costs
2 - Conceptualization and GTM Strategy:
- Build new product brands and sustain the position of the current product/brand portfolio
- Develop product communication strategy and execute product launch campaign considering budget and time
- Develop a GTM Startegy for best path to market commercially and financially
- File products to regulators including the alignment cycle with the cross-functional teams, and sign-off from Products management
- Set the product performance KPIs by building a business case (P&L) for a 3 year cycle
- Create rules and technical requirements for Product configration on Sales channel
- Coordinate with the Sales channel team to test the product prior to launch
- Conduct product trainings sessions and deliver a comprehensive product understanding to sales staff
- Coordinate with the Marketing communication team on the media spending for the campaign and budget management for all product launches with their media presence
3 - Post Launch Product Management:
- Monitor and report product performance against the product roadmap
- Track the impact of products on the overall brand product pillar and develop plans to enhance the brand image performance
- Develop product performance reports and present findings them to stakeholders
4 - Market Development:
- Generate insights and landscape assessment to identify market opportunities
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to size the opportunity and define the best Go-to market startegy and business model
- Participate in the value creation on business case development and proposals to stakeholders
- Develop the action plan for products and distribute the actions to relative stakeholders
Skills
- Operational mind set with good implementation and execution skills
- Good computer skills with capabilities in web search, excel, power point and word
- Strong analytical skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A good understanding of marketing concepts and execution
- Proficient in both Arabic and English language (written & spoken)
Consulting background is an advantage
