Tricon Energy is seeking a driven and experienced procurement professional to join its team as Procurement Manager – Polymers . This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management efforts for our polyethylene portfolio across the Middle East and beyond.
We are looking for a candidate with strong English language proficiency and a solid background in the polymer industry. Speaking Arabic would be a significant advantage. A passion for building long-term relationships is essential. While industry experience is important, we will prioritize strong communication and customer service skills—your ability to engage effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders will be key to your success.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement: Develop and execute procurement strategies for polyethylene aligned with Tricon’s regional and global business goals.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment on pricing, quality, and delivery expectations.
- Cross-Regional Collaboration: Work closely with Tricon’s regional directors to implement supplier strategies tailored to each geography.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers, securing optimal terms and mitigating risk across the supply chain.
- Market Monitoring: Conduct regular market analysis to track trends, risks, and opportunities in the polymers space.
- Internal Coordination: Liaise with sales, logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement strategies.
- Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Reporting: Provide periodic updates to senior management on supplier status, procurement performance, and market developments.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in procurement or commercial roles, with at least 5 years focused on polymers (polyethylene and polypropylene).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; proficiency in Arabic is a strong plus.
- Strong customer focus and ability to build trust-based relationships.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience in supplier performance management and cost optimization.
- Analytical and proactive, with a solid understanding of global polymers markets.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
