Job Objective Manage and monitor the organization’s project and initiative portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maximizing returns on government expenditure, while applying the EXPRO methodology in planning, execution, and monitoring.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop a portfolio management framework in compliance with EXPRO policies and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze portfolio reports (performance, costs, risks, value indicators) for senior management.
• Support decision-making by providing insights on project prioritization and resource allocation.
• Ensure alignment of projects and programs with the organization’s strategic plan.
• Manage the portfolio lifecycle from planning to closure, balancing risks and benefits.
• Track KPIs and performance measures related to efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to enhancing portfolio management maturity within the PMO.
• Coordinate with project and program managers to unify data and ensure accuracy of portfolio reports
. • Participate in evaluating and aligning new projects with strategy and expenditure priorities.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on portfolio management policies and tools.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field (Master’s in Project Management or Business Administration is preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of practical experience in project/program/portfolio management, including government or semi-government sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of the EXPRO methodology and global portfolio management best practices.
• Advanced certifications such as PfMP, PMP, or equivalent.
• Experience in preparing financial and analytical reports for projects and portfolios
