Key External Expert engagement
- Develop and share high level educational scientific information, clinical guidelines and medical information with national/regional KEEs and other external stakeholders through Scientific Exchange - Identify Medical Insights and bring these back to the team to develop future medical/commercial strategy - Identify and implement medical initiatives for development of new & existing products - Create and deliver presentations of new and existing data on MP products within assigned therapy area - Build and maintain advanced product & therapy area knowledge. Actively gather and monitor developments competitors and clinical research within assigned therapy area - Deliver approved presentations related to advances in disease knowledge, diagnostics and treatment, of competitor as well as own products - Assist in the organization of Advisory Board activities, including Specialty Advisory Boards, national and regional Advisory Boards as required - Participate in relevant Advisory Boards
Research and Medical Education
- Reactively discuss investigator-initiated studies and shepherd these through the internal process - Identify data gaps and propose research and RWE to fill those gaps - Collaborate in the coordination of information pre-events and summaries post-events - Attend and represent MP at congresses & symposia, and report on the events for the benefit of the cross functional team - Represent the Medical Department at Medical Congresses and Conventions, manning medical education booths as required Monitor and facilitate pre-congress abstract submissions to the local Medical affairs Department, attends poster sessions and oral presentations - Facilitate CME programs and medical education utilising digital platforms and other omnichannel approaches - Provide information and interpretation of literature to the Hospital Sales Representatives and provide clinical education and therapy training support the commercial team. - Represent, and act as an ambassador for MP, always demonstrating professionalism and alignment with the Company’s Mission and Values
Internal Cross functional Collaboration
- Provide input into the customer engagement planning processes, ensuring medical and scientific credibility and optimal use of data for competitive product differentiation - Participate in the cross-functional assessment of data requirements to support the marketing of MPL promoted products, through literature searches, clinical trials, data-based surveys. - Provide support to the commercial team through collection of insights to define strategy, sales representative training, market research and product launch activities (eg targeted insight gathering, KEE mapping and other activities as requested by the cross functional team. - Provides scientific support in clinical and pharmaco-economic outcomes to medical/ marketing team to assist in pharmacoeconomic analyses to support product approvals and LCM initiatives
Medical Compliance
- Ensure all customer interactions comply with Local Code of Conduct, legal and ethical standards, and all other relevant MP policies and internal guidance documents - Ensure all adverse events are reported and all medical inquiries or customer complaints are followed up quickly and ensure that satisfactory solutions are obtained - Ensure all materials used in any interaction are approved through the internal review processes - Promotional materials review as requested for assigned products so all promotional materials adhere Local Code of Conduct, legal and ethical standards, and all other relevant MP policies and internal guidance documents
