Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manager – Road Design to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the design, planning, and execution of road infrastructure projects that align with our ambitious vision for creating a world-class entertainment and cultural destination. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our roads are not only functional but also innovative and integrated within the broader transportation network.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and development of road infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.
- Manage a team of design engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers and external partners, to gather insights and feedback essential for project development.
- Review and analyze design proposals, providing actionable feedback for improvements and enhancements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports to support project planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local and international road design standards and regulations.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Promote sustainable design practices and innovative solutions in all road design activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 - 12 years of experience in road design and civil engineering, with prior experience in a management role.
- Proven experience in managing road design projects from conception to implementation.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of local and international road design standards and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on solving complex engineering problems.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
