Job Summary:
The Lifting Inspector is responsible for inspecting lifting equipment, planning lifting operations, and ensuring compliance with project safety procedures and KSA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and certify lifting equipment (cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, etc.) before use.
- Review and approve lifting plans and risk assessments.
- Monitor lifting activities to ensure safe practices are followed.
- Maintain updated records of lifting equipment certifications and inspections.
- Ensure lifting operations comply with KSA safety standards and project requirements.
- Report unsafe equipment or lifting practices immediately and recommend corrective measures.
- Work closely with riggers, operators, and HSE team to coordinate safe lifting activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of lifting inspection experience in Solar/PV or heavy industrial projects.
- Certified Lifting Inspector (Lifting Equipment Inspector/LEEA or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of lifting operations, load charts, and rigging techniques.
- Familiar with KSA and international safety standards.
- Strong communication and documentation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
