- Define and lead the enterprise-wide Quality Control strategy, integrating testing with SDLC, DevOps, ITQMS, and risk
management practices.
- Oversee the governance of functional, non-functional, regression, UAT, performance, and security testing.
- Establish and enforce enterprise quality gates and test maturity benchmarks (e.g., TMMi Level 3+).
- Drive the implementation of enterprise test automation platforms, ensuring CI/CD pipeline alignment.
- Lead cross-functional quality reviews, RCA sessions, and non-conformity management.
- Define and monitor quality KPIs including defect leakage, test coverage, automation rate, test efficiency, and business impact.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as TMMi, ISO 9001, ISO 25010, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g.,
NCA ECC).
- Oversee readiness and support for internal/external audits, security reviews, and go-live approvals.
- Guide the Test Center of Excellence (TCoE) and ensure consistent practices across all projects, vendors, and delivery teams.
- Present quality health, risks, and continuous improvement opportunities to the CIO, CTO, and executive board.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of QC managers, automation engineers, and test leaders.
Requirements
Qualification:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Deep understanding of quality assurance, software testing, and process governance at scale.
Experience
- Minimum 15+ years in IT/software delivery, with at least 8 years in senior testing or quality leadership roles.
- Proven experience in leading enterprise QA/QC functions across multiple domains (ERP, web, mobile, APIs).
- Strong experience in regulated and audited environments.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Robot Framework).
- Proficiency in CI/CD toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Hands-on knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail, ALM).
- Understanding of performance, security, and API testing frameworks (JMeter, Postman, OWASP tools).
- Awareness of AI in testing, model-based testing, and quality analytics.
Leadership Skills
- Strategic thinker capable of influencing organization-wide quality culture.
