Job Brief:
Are you experienced in field joint coating operations for pipeline projects?
Do you have hands-on skills in applying FBE, PU, or epoxy coatings and a solid understanding of quality and safety standards?
We are hiring Field Joint Coating Technicians for ongoing pipeline projects in KSA. The right candidates will be responsible for coating welded joints, ensuring compliance with project specs, and maintaining safe, high-performance work conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply field joint coatings using FBE, PU, or liquid epoxy systems
- Perform proper surface preparation as per technical specifications
- Operate coating equipment and monitor application parameters
- Ensure adherence to HSE, quality, and client-specific standards
- Support QA/QC inspections and correct coating defects
- Record daily application logs, material usage, and progress reports
- Follow site supervisor instructions and report technical issues
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of tools, PPE, and work areas
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in field joint coating for pipelines
- Solid knowledge of FBE, PU, or epoxy application methods
- Familiarity with pipeline project environments and HSE standards
- Ability to follow drawings, TDSs, and work instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors or in remote areas
- Basic understanding of surface prep and coating inspection standards
Location: Abqaiq, KSA
Salary Range: SAR 3,000 – 4,500
