Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an amazingly talented HSE & Security Manager to join the Qiddiya Facility Management team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the planning and initial site set-up and production of the Site Security and H&S plans, integrated with the wider engineering and logistics plans to give a city-wide approach.
- Develops standard operating procedures for Security and H&S of the program and ensure that QIP follow them so there is operational consistency across the program.
- Coordinate with other delivery partners, as well as QIC and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.
- Plan and implement Security and H&S strategies and approaches in accordance with the completed and approved Security and H&S plan.
- Lead the implementation and application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts, ensuring compliance and consistency across the delivery teams.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline with minimum 15 years’ experience in construction projects, specifically health, safety, security and environment.
- Advantageous to have experience in Saudi Arabia.
- OSHA Certified is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.

- Demonstrated teamwork and management skills.
- Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.
- Ability to follow through clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with senior-level management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
- Strong Contractor Management skills.
- Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas, leading in the fields of Security and H&S.
- Leads on unusually complex Security and H&S problems and provides solutions that are highly creative, in coordination with site and engineering leads.
- Facilitates partnerships with key stakeholders/organizations impacted by the program.
- Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.
- Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required.
- Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary.
- Prepare the needed reports.
- Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
