Petroraq is seeking a General Manager – Business & Operations to lead, expand, and manage our growing business. This role will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new markets, managing client relationships, and overseeing day-to-day operational efficiency of our design, construction, and prefabricated building solutions.
The GM will report directly to the COO/CEO and serve as a key leadership figure to ensure the company's operational success and strategic business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Growth
- Identify new business opportunities in Saudi Arabia (NEOM, Red Sea, Qiddiya, etc.)
- Expand client base in the prefabrication, modular buildings, infrastructure, and construction sectors
- Lead bid submissions, proposals, and negotiations with clients
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders, contractors, and government entities
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of the office, projects, and business units
- Manage cross-functional teams (BD, Engineering, Procurement, Admin) ensuring smooth coordination
- Establish KPIs and operational targets for teams
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, labor laws, and company policies
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and client escalations promptly
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff across all departments
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork
- Conduct regular team reviews and performance evaluations
- Plan manpower requirements aligned with business growth

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Management (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in business management and operations, preferably in construction, prefabrication, or infrastructure sectors
- Proven track record of business expansion in Saudi Arabia or GCC
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Familiar with Saudi market, mega projects, and government contracting processes
