Financial Manager

Activity:

• Industrial in the field of plastics manufacturing, specializing in pipes and fittings.
• Commercial in retail and export of plumbing and sanitary products.

Overall Purpose of the Job:
To assume full responsibility for the financial management of all company facilities (industrial and commercial), develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals, ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local laws and regulations, and lead the finance management team to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Strategy:

• Develop and execute financial plans and strategies that support long-term objectives.
• Prepare annual budgets and accurate financial forecasts, and monitor actual financial performance against the budget.
• Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations to senior management to improve financial performance and profitability.
• Assess potential financial risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Identify growth and expansion opportunities.

2. Financial Operations Management:

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including the preparation of periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data and compliance with IFRS and local standards.
• Manage cash flows and optimize working capital management.
• Supervise payment and collection processes, ensuring compliance with credit terms.
• Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
• Monitor and periodically assess inventory for accuracy and effective control.

3. Tax Management and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all local and international tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and submit tax declarations on time.
• Develop strategies to reduce tax burdens.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and advise management on their implications.

4. Team Management and Leadership:

• Lead, guide, and develop the finance management team, set objectives, and evaluate performance.
• Provide training and professional development for team members.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Distribute tasks and responsibilities effectively to achieve targets.

5. Internal Controls and Audit:

• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes and ensure recommendations are implemented.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and suggest improvements.

6. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze financial performance and provide reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare financial analyses for investment projects and evaluate their feasibility.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance.
• Present financial reports to the board of directors and shareholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum of 14 years of experience in financial management, with at least 6 years in a managerial role.
• Experience working in manufacturing and trading sectors, preferably in plumbing and sanitary products.
• Proficiency in financial and accounting work using the Odoo ERP system, including modules related to accounting, financial reporting, and inventory management.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong analytical skills and decision-making ability based on data.
• Leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

• Financial Manager: 6 years (Preferred)
• Financial management: 10 years (Preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting using Odoo ERP system modules.: 2 years (Preferred)
• In manufacturing, especially in plumbing and sanitary: 3 years (Preferred)
