Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Accountant to lead the financial setup and operations of a joint venture. This position is accountable for accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls, while acting as the financial bridge between the joint venture and its partners.
Responsibilities
- Consolidation and monthly reporting of financial statements
- Managing audits
- Product costing and variance analysis of plant products
- Preparing MIS reports on plant KPIs
- Ensuring compliance with local tax laws (VAT, Zakat, CIT)
- Strengthening and maintaining internal control systems
- Driving systems improvements across finance functions
Requirements
- CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), or Master’s in Accounting
- 7–10 years of post-qualification experience with a proven track record
- Experience in manufacturing companies is an advantage
- SAP experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong understanding of accounting, compliance, and financial controls
- Fluent in English; basic Arabic is a plus
