Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Vendor Inspector with SEC & ARAMCO approval to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Technical Evaluation, and Source Inspection to ensure products and services meet international standards and client expectations. The role involves close coordination with vendors and third-party inspectors to ensure full compliance with inspection and test plans (ITPs), specifications, and project requirements.
- Perform inspections as per the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), ensuring strict compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements.
- Conduct source inspection of electrical, communication, and instrumentation materials during in-process and/or final stages at vendor facilities.
- Ensure inspection of equipment such as SCADA, RTUs, Switchgears, Control Gears, Transformers, Panel Boards, RMUs, Motors, Cables, Cathodic Protection systems, and Process Skids.
- Perform technical evaluations of manufacturers’ facilities to ensure capability and compliance with project and industry standards.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and third-party inspection agencies for quality inspections and reporting.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
- Ensure continuous adherence to quality management systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum vocational Diploma or equivalent.
- Aramco & SEC approval mandatory.
- 3–7 years of inspection experience in manufacturing plants.
- Minimum 2 years of inspection experience specific to electrical/instrumentation materials and processes.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong understanding of international codes and standards: ASTM, IEC, NEC, ANSI, NEMA, IEEE, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with fabrication methods and inspection techniques.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System and its application.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
