Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to join our team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems throughout our facilities, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair various electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, circuit breakers, and electrical panels
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in different areas of the facility
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and company standards
- Respond quickly to electrical emergencies, power outages, and urgent repair requests
- Monitor and suggest improvements to reduce energy consumption
- Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure overall facility functionality
- Stay updated on local electrical codes and safety guidelines, implementing necessary changes
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in a hospitality or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues
- Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus
- Relevant certifications in electrical systems or maintenance (e.g., Certified Electrical Technician) are preferred
- Basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems is beneficial
