Job Title: Document Controller

Job Purpose
The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining project documentation in compliance with company standards and client requirements. The role ensures the timely distribution, tracking, and retrieval of all technical and non-technical documents related to the Jazan project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control the flow of documents, correspondence, drawings, and technical submittals in line with project requirements.
- Ensure proper coding, indexing, and filing of all project documents (hard and soft copies).
- Maintain document control registers and logs for all incoming/outgoing documentation.
- Distribute project documents to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Monitor the review and approval cycle of documents to ensure deadlines are met.
- Liaise with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure document management procedures are followed.
- Ensure all project documentation complies with contractual, regulatory, and company standards.
- Provide regular reports on document status, pending actions, and overdue submissions.
- Assist in audits and quality checks related to documentation control.
- Ensure secure storage, retrieval, and archiving of project documents.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Document Control within large-scale construction, industrial, or oil & gas projects (preferably in Saudi Arabia or GCC).
- Strong knowledge of document control systems (EDMS) and software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, Primavera, etc.).
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management procedures.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).

- Previous experience in Jazan region projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to coordinate with multinational teams and contractors.
