Raffles the Red Sea, a prestigious luxury resort located in Umluj, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Rooms to join our executive team. This key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of room operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize room division performance and guest satisfaction
- Lead and inspire a team of managers and staff across various departments, including front office, housekeeping, and guest services
- Establish and maintain high standards of service quality and cleanliness throughout the property
- Analyze financial data, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations and enhance overall guest experience
- Drive innovation in service delivery and implement best practices in room operations
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and health and safety guidelines
- Handle VIP guests and resolve complex guest issues to maintain the hotel's reputation for excellence
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase room occupancy and revenue
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain the hotel's competitive edge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CHA) preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in luxury hotel operations, with a proven track record in rooms division management
- Experience in opening and/or managing a 5-star property
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
- Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities
- Excellent financial management and budgeting skills
- Superior customer service orientation with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations
- Advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
