Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas.
- Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist in training new staff on coffee preparation and customer service practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Capacity to stand for long periods.
- A passion for coffee and creating an exceptional customer experience.
