We are seeking an exceptional Associate Director - ERM & Strategy Risk to enhance our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and align it seamlessly with our strategic objectives.
About the Role:
The Associate Director - ERM & Strategy Risk will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating strategic risks that may impact the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management into strategic planning processes, ensuring that risks are proactively managed and aligned with Qiddiya's vision. Your analytical mindset and strong leadership skills will be essential in fostering a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the organization.
- Define and maintain a company-wide risk taxonomy to ensure consistent risk classification and communication.
- Design and maintain the methodology for enterprise-wide risk assessments, including risk heatmaps.
- Consolidate and validate risk assessment results from across the business (coordinating input collection from relevant departments) to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Establish and maintain a risk monitoring and reporting infrastructure, including regular tracking and reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Define the organization's overarching risk appetite framework and collaborate with departments to set appropriate KRIs and limits.
- Report risk trends, insights, and KRI results to senior management and relevant governance bodies (e.g., Audit & Risk Committee), providing strategic guidance and early warning signals.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk controls and mitigation framework and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of control measures.
- Ensure ongoing development, review, and enforcement of enterprise risk policies, standards, and procedures.
- Promote a strong risk-aware culture across the organization through effective communication and stakeholder engagement. - Facilitate training and development sessions on Enterprise risk management, fostering a risk-aware culture across Qiddiya
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, strategic planning, or related fields, preferably within large-scale projects or organizations.
- - Relevant certifications in risk management (e.g., CRM, ERM) are desirable -
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO) is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in guiding and influencing teams.
- Proficient in risk management software and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
