Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Risk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across various projects and operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our organization's activities.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze potential hazards in industrial and construction environments
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses and enhance safety
- Perform on-site inspections and audits to evaluate compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Create detailed technical reports and present findings to management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management practices into project planning and execution
- Utilize risk assessment software and data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in risk data
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, local and international safety codes, and best practices in risk engineering
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to improve safety management systems and processes
- Participate in project management activities related to risk control and loss prevention
- Contribute to the development and delivery of risk management training programs for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk engineering or a related field
- Proven expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification, and safety management systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in risk assessment software and data analysis tools
- Excellent technical report writing and presentation skills
- Experience in industrial or construction risk assessment
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and risk transfer mechanisms
- Familiarity with local and international safety codes and standards
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Risk Manager (CRM) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
- Willingness to travel for on-site inspections and audits as required
