As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and leading the team to deliver outstanding service and memorable dining experiences. You’ll help manage staff performance, ensure brand standards are met, and drive guest satisfaction — all while reflecting IHG’s values of True Hospitality.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in supervising daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Support team training, coaching, and development to maintain high service standards.
Handle guest feedback and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
Monitor restaurant cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Help manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to support financial targets.
Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure quality and consistency.
Assist in creating staff schedules, managing labor, and ensuring proper shift coverage.
Promote a positive team culture focused on service excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel F&B outlet.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Guest-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, hygiene standards, and POS systems.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and support team performance.
