Qiddiya Investment Company is on the forefront of shaping the future of entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia, and we are looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager - Tax to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the tax department in managing tax compliance, planning, and reporting, ensuring that the organization adheres to all tax laws and regulations while optimizing its tax position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Support tax planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities while adhering to legal requirements.
- Conduct research on tax legislation and interpret its implications for the organization.
- Assist in managing relationships with external tax advisors and act as a liaison with tax authorities.
- Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits related to tax matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business operations and decisions.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and recommend adjustments to policies and practices as necessary.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on tax compliance and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
