Overview:
The ESG strategy Assistant Manager should effectively communicate and report on the organization's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts, both internally and externally, in alignment with the organization's overall ESG strategy. This includes leading the ESG reporting process, improving data quality, coordinating with various departmental heads, and driving ESG-related certifications and ratings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the ESG reporting process, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive disclosure of ESG performance
- Work with topic owners and departmental heads to enhance the quality of ESG data collected and reported
- Collaborate closely with marketing to ensure that ESG communication are consistent & impactful across all stakeholder groups
- Work with Data office to automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reliability
Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong skills in crafting and disseminating clear, concise, & compelling ESG narratives
- Expertise in ESG reporting standards and practices
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including marketing, sustainability, and various operational departments
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of ESG certifications and ratings and driving their achievements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Environmental Science; Master’s degree is desirable.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in ESG, Sustainability and Carbon Management
