Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly reconciliations of accounts, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to guide business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations by staying up-to-date on changes in financial reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure integrity of financial transactions.
- Provide support to management on various financial initiatives and projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus.
