Job Title: Work Permit Receiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a certified Work Permit Receiver with expertise in Aramco and Sabic Third Party Certification systems to join our team in Jubail. The role ensures strict compliance with safety and operational protocols during work execution. The ideal candidate will manage permit issuance, validate job safety requirements, and coordinate with contractors and operations teams to maintain a zero-incident environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process work permits (hot/cold/critical lifts) in line with Aramco/Third Party standards.
- Verify job hazard analyses (JHAs), isolation plans, gas tests, and safety documentation.
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Contractors to ensure permit conditions are met before work begins.
- Conduct site inspections to validate safety measures (e.g., PPE, barricades, fire watches).
- Maintain digital/physical records of permits, approvals, and close-out reports.
- Stop unsafe work and escalate non-compliance issues to HSE/operations management.
- Facilitate daily permit meetings and briefings with stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedures (SAEP) and Jubail Industrial City regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Mandatory Aramco Work Permit Receiver certification or equivalent Third Party Certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in permit receiving within oil/gas, petrochemicals, or heavy industry.
- Knowledge:
- Proficiency in permit-to-work (PTW) systems, isolation standards, and risk assessment.
- Understanding of HSE regulations (Saudi Aramco standards preferred).
- Skills:
- Fluent in English (Arabic advantageous).
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 shift environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma/degree in HSE or Engineering preferred).
