Job Purpose:
The main purpose of this job is to carry out the day-to-day running of KFAA AW Library and Leaning resource Centre (LRC) in support of the Staff and Cadet Officers of the Academic Wing.
Responsibilities
Supervisor- Library and Learning Resource Centre Accountabilities:
- Ensure that they keep up to date with the tools and processes appropriate to the services the jobholder provides to be able to meet quality requirements.
- Coordinate daily activities to meet department targets
- Be responsible for the day-to-day management and service provision in the
LRC to effectively meet training requirements.
- Implement task objectives, prioritise and rationalise on the best way to
achieve them.
- Support supervising cadets during their presence in the Library and the Learning Resource Centre (LRC).
- Review and ensure the availability of the library and LRC materials, resources, and indexes to make information searches easier.
- Assist in selecting the library & LRC materials and its new programs before taking the prevision and purchase decisions.
- Guide the library users and the KFAA members and orientate them with the services, sources of available data.
- Supervise preparing the library-related events such as book fairs and reading fairs.
- Support the provision of creative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of the Library and the Learning Resource Centre (LRC).
- Other administrative tasks as directed by the Manager Academic Support.

Styles
Job Requirements:
Essential
- Diploma or equivalent in information sciences, or related field.
- Have a good command of the English language.
- Minimum of five year relevant experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under high pressure conditions
- Self-disciplined and well-motivated
Desirable
- Knowledge of RSAF policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Items classification.
