Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a skilled SSOC Manager to take charge of our Security Operations Center (SOC). In this role, you will play a pivotal part in safeguarding our information systems and ensuring the resilience of our operations against security threats. The SSOC Manager will lead a devoted team of analysts in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents while fostering a proactive security culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center, ensuring effective threat detection and incident management.
- Develop strategic initiatives to enhance SOC capabilities and implement best practices for security monitoring and incident response.
- Oversee incident response activities, providing expert guidance in the analysis and resolution of security incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the overall security posture of the organization.
- Conduct regular assessments of security tools, processes, and protocols to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop SOC personnel, fostering a high-performing security team.
- Create and present comprehensive reports on SOC activities, trends in incident response, and metrics to senior leadership.
- Research and monitor the evolving threat landscape, implementing updates as necessary to tools and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant security certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are beneficial.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 relevant years of experience in security operations with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of information security practices, incident response processes, and SOC operations.
- Experience with SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management applications.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to assess threats and vulnerabilities effectively.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team-building and engagement.
- Exceptional communication skills with the capability to convey complex security concepts to varied audiences.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
