The opportunity
To build You as a responsible for a Senior Project Manager at Hitachi Energy involves leading and managing complex projects to ensure successful execution and delivery.
How you’ll make an impact
Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans in collaboration with the Project Controls department, encompassing scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
Manage all aspects of project execution, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policies and best practices. This includes monitoring and controlling progress, resources, and financials.
Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow. Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage risks, ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
Ensure consistent application of contract and claims management in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements and coordinate procurement efforts.
Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor team members by providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration for professional growth.
The focus of the role is to Develop and deploy improved Training management systems to track, monitor, and measure effectiveness of training courses. Alos, Identify, develop, and manage a set of KPIs to measure effectiveness of training and development strategies and processes; use data to drive continuous improvement of programs and processes.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 8 years of project management experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
Strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in project management software and tools.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
