WSP is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a complex portfolio of operations, maintenance, and refurbishment activities across infrastructure and public assets in Riyadh. The role is part of WSP’s Program Management Consultancy (PMC) scope, working closely with the client and contractors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical experience in O&M and asset refurbishment programs, with a proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced PMC environment.
- Lead the end-to-end management of projects related to operations, maintenance, and refurbishment of infrastructure assets.
- Develop and manage project execution plans, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with client objectives and contractual requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, providing updates, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
- Supervise contractors and consultants’ performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, commercial, controls, HSE, and facilities management.
- Oversee procurement coordination, mobilization, execution, and close-out phases.
- Manage risks, changes, and interface challenges across all project components.
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and governance standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate regular project reviews, progress meetings, and performance evaluations.
- Support implementation of sustainability, asset life-cycle planning, and refurbishment best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including significant work in PMC/consultancy roles.
- Strong background in managing infrastructure O&M, building upgrades, utility refurbishments, or facility rehabilitation projects.
- Proven experience leading large multidisciplinary teams in high-profile public or semi-government projects.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
- Fluency in Arabic (native speaker) is mandatory, with strong English communication skills.
- Familiarity with Saudi regulations, local authorities (e.g., MOMRA, ADA), and GIGA project environments is an advantage.
