We are seeking a Senior Marketing Director to lead the strategy and execution of marketing for a flagship global event, delivered in partnership with a high-level government entity.
Based full-time in Riyadh, this is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded marketing leader to shape one of the most high-profile global events working closely with senior government stakeholders while representing companies interests and ensuring world-class execution.
About the Role
You’ll be embedded with the client team on the ground in Riyadh, acting as the senior marketing representative. You’ll take full ownership of the marketing strategy — from initial planning and narrative development to campaign delivery, stakeholder approvals, and post-event analysis.
This is a strategic leadership role that blends external relationship management, campaign creation, and hands-on execution. It's ideal for someone who thrives in cross-cultural, high-stakes environments and can confidently navigate both government protocols and commercial priorities.
Key Responsibilities
· Write, shape, and lead the complete marketing strategy for a flagship, government-led global event, from narrative development and campaign planning to delivery and optimisation across all channels Develop and execute targeted go-to-market strategies for audience acquisition and sponsor engagement, using global market insights to inform positioning and messaging
· Build and implement partnership marketing strategies with associations and industry groups to expand audience reach, enhance brand positioning, and support commercial objectives
· Serve as the senior marketing liaison between this company and the government partner, managing day-to-day alignment, approvals, and strategic communication
· Align cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including marketing, content, production, commercial, and partnerships around shared campaign objectives, messaging priorities, and delivery timelines
· Deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, email, partnerships, and marketing and sales collateral ensuring alignment, consistency, and measurable impact
· Collaborate with the partner’s website team to ensure timely and accurate updates of event content, including speakers, agenda, exhibition details, floorplan, and sales materials
· Oversee audience segmentation, CRM workflows, registration systems, and campaign reporting to support end-to-end engagement and performance tracking
· Brief and manage media and agency partners to maintain message consistency, elevate brand presence, and deliver strong return on investment
· Oversee marketing budget planning and optimisation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and securing timely approval for spend across agreed channels
· Guide and coordinate Beacon’s internal marketing team, ensuring seamless delivery, shared priorities, and alignment with the government partner’s expectations
· Lead coordination across government, operations, and tech teams to deliver a robust registration setup integrating CRM systems and the Delegate Connect platform for efficient data capture, attendee management, and engagement tracking
What You Bring
· 10+ years’ experience in B2B event marketing, ideally across global or government-led initiatives
· A strategic mindset paired with hands-on delivery expertise
· Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken
· Proven success managing senior stakeholders and navigating complex approval structures
· Strong working knowledge of CRM and automation platforms (HubSpot preferred)
· A high level of cultural awareness, discretion, and professionalism
