JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Geospatial Data Quality Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of geospatial data products. The purpose of this role is to establish quality control procedures and evaluate the accuracy and completeness of data to ensure successful geospatial analyses and products. The Individual should be able to work well unsupervised and will be able to plan and organise the team’s activities.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Establishes quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of geospatial data and intelligence products.
- Evaluates the accuracy and completeness of geospatial data to ensure successful geospatial analyses and products.
- Collaborates with other geospatial specialists to integrate quality control procedures into geospatial products.
- Applies analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data issues.
- Monitors quality control processes to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of geospatial data quality management platforms and tools.
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering, or a related field.
- Certificate in Total Quality Management.
- Extensive experience in geospatial data quality management roles.
- Skills in ArcGlS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Data Quality, FME Data Inspector.
- Strong knowledge of geospatial data quality management principles and technologies
- Familiarity with geospatial data standards and policies
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
