The Role:
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the Quality Engineering Activities in KSA plant.
- Manage the Quality Engineering Teams for all commodities: Interior, Exterior, Electrical and Electronics and Powertrain.
- Ensure the compliance of the Milestone’s Quality deliverables during the launch phase with the corporate standards.
- Ensure the follow up and compliance of the Quality tests and validations with Product Engineering team.
- Deploy the APQP/PPAP process in coordination with Supplier Quality Development and Product Engineering teams.
- Proactively track parts/suppliers’ qualification and readiness and identify and mitigate associated risks for each milestone.
- Track parts readiness with Supplier Quality Development and Product Engineering team to ensure readiness for trial builds and Start of Production.
- Ensure the parts maturity Level and track their introduction to the plant and secure the production lines.
- Monitor the reactivity with Incoming Quality, Logistics teams and suppliers regarding the defective parts.
- Create and implement the parts quality inspection standards and ensure the technical training for Incoming Quality teams as well as any Third-party resources.
- Monitor the problem solving with Launch team, check the solution’s implementation and effectiveness.
- Lead the reactivity process regarding the Pre-Delivery Inspection and Lucid Customer Product Audit with supplier quality, manufacturing and Product Engineering.
- Monitor the New Parts Introduction Process and well as Lead the Change Management Process.
- Ensure interface with Product Engineering Team for changes and their implementation.
- Monitor the ECR implementation within PLM or equivalent system.
- Participate in improving customer experience by leading 0MiS and 3MiS findings and associated containment and problem solving in coordination with Field Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Engineering and Manufacturing.
- Ensure team members coaching and skills development.
Qualifications:
- Engineer or master’s degree in manufacturing or engineering discipline is required.
- 13+ years of experience in automotive industry with minimum 5 years with OEM.
- Experience in launching a greenfield OEM plant and new vehicle is a must.
- Experience in Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality is required.
- Good understanding of Product and Process Engineering is a plus.
- Good understanding of vehicle assembly processes is required, experience within an EV company is a plus.
- Good verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Able to motivate, influence, gain consensus and support within a wide variety of supporting departments and can interface well with senior management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills.
- Ability to lead complex issues and communicate with different levels of the organization.
Skills:
- Knowledge of APQP/PPAP methodologies and Quality Core Tools is a must.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Creative, energetic, self-motivated and highly organized.
- Team and conflict management.
- Critical management skills with a high level of initiative and sound judgement.
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
