Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and manage contracts across cast, crew, production and format agreements.
- Handle the full GLP process, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and timelines.
- Negotiate licensing deals for formats and production agreements in coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Liaise with Legal, Finance, Production and external parties to ensure all agreements are aligned and contractually sound.
- Track all pending payments related to production, cast, and crew in collaboration with the finance department to ensure timely processing and follow-ups.
- Maintain and update internal tracking systems to reflect the status of all agreements, licenses, and financial obligations.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all signed contracts and related materials.
- Act as the go-to contact for all contractual matters related to content acquisition, production, and licensing.
- Support the content and production teams with any contractual clarifications or modifications during development and production phases.
- Watch online episodes for appointed titles and review offline reports to confirm viewer notes have been addressed and that the episode is finalized and error-free.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Media, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in contracts administration, licensing, or business affairs, preferably in media, TV production, or entertainment.
- Experience with format licensing and production contracts is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate format licenses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to effectively liaise between Legal, Finance, Production, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to track financial obligations, pending payments, and follow up with Finance and vendors.
- Well-organized in maintaining contract archives, logs, and internal reporting systems.
- Familiarity with TV/film production workflows, terminology, and roles.
- Ability to watch content (episodes, rushes, reports) critically to ensure agreed deliverables and quality standards are met.
- Fluent in Arabic & English.
