This role is responsible for developing prospects and clients for our business intelligence services and all other practice areas with Saudi Arabia-based clients, and managing and delivering more complicated business intelligence engagements. The position has utilisation and sales origination targets and will focus on delivering growth to our BI practice and broadening senior client relationships. The position’s core responsibilities are:
1. Identifying prospects for business intelligence and due diligence services, including amongst established clients of Control Risks that are not buyers of these services
2. Managing client relationships that are significant buyers of due diligence and business intelligence
3. Managing and delivering more complicated business intelligence and due diligence cases in the Middle East and North Africa
4. Drive financial success, profitable revenue expansion and cost reductions in BI MENA
Client management and business development
Closely manage existing clients that are regular consumers of business intelligence, and grow these relationships within business intelligence and other services
Identify and secure new client relationships through pro-active business development efforts
Represent Control Risks at events and other business development functions in coordination with other senior members of the team and broader regional management
Collaborate with other regional business intelligence teams on global business development initiatives
Identify opportunities for you and UAE-based team members for external business development, and for internal awareness building with the Riyadh-based leadership and colleagues, with a focus on Saudi-based clients with interests in the Middle East and globally.
Regular engagement with clients to understand how their business intelligence and due diligence requirements are evolving, and ensure this is fed into discussions about products and services we are developing
Case and project work
Ensure proposals focus on our clients’ requirements and our ability to meet them, and that our proposals stay ahead of the market by incorporating clients’ feedback and service innovation
Lead more complicated business intelligence projects in MENA, and multi-jurisdictional projects that stretch outside MENA, with other senior colleagues
Collaborate with your peers in other business intelligence practices to ensure our clients’ requirements for integrated risk management consultancy are met
Leadership and business management
Day-to-day management responsibilities for Riyadh-related requirements of the MENA Business Intelligence team
Guidance to more junior members of the MENA Business Intelligence team, consistent with the EMEA-wide standards with proposals and project management
Ensure high quality work is delivered to clients within project deadlines, including the reviews of proposals, capability statements, reports and other material, and responses to changing client expectations
Support subcontractor risk management and ensure all subcontractors are vetted, approved, and maintained

Requirements
Qualifications and specialised skills:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent
Excellent communication, listening and negotiation skills
Advanced analytical and report writing skill
Close attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple commitments under time pressure
Methodical approach and strong project management skills
Demonstrable commercial acumen when planning and pricing projects in terms of time, resources and outcome
