Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the Civil and Infrastructure Design Discipline, ensuring top-tier project delivery.
- Facilitate value engineering processes to optimize project outcomes.
- Oversee all design and engineering activities on F&E projects, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
- Deliver comprehensive design stages (30%, 60%, 90%) in compliance with established guidelines, for projects developed in-house.
- Manage outsourced design packages, conducting reviews and technical approvals to meet regulations and guidelines.
- Foster a culture of sharing engineering and design insights across projects to enhance overall performance.
- Provide technical assurance for all design deliverables, both internal and outsourced.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing civil engineering design projects.
- Proficiency in value engineering methodologies.
- Strong engineering planning and review capabilities.
- Expertise in design and specification development.
- Experience with design reviews and supplier relationship management.
- Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code and quality management practices.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage risk, opportunities, and issues effectively.
- Understanding of procurement and contract management principles.
- Knowledge of auditing and compliance processes.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental management.
- Skills in developing policies and standards.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Strategic planning and people management experience.
