Job Summary
The SAP BPC Expert is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation solutions using SAP BPC. The role requires expertise in both Standard (Classic) and Embedded models and strong knowledge of financial planning processes, legal consolidation, and integration with core SAP systems.
The manager will work closely with CFOs, controllers, and planning teams to align system design with financial governance and performance management objectives.
The role includes leading teams, managing full-cycle project delivery, and ensuring solution scalability and audit compliance. Experience with S/4HANA integration, BW/4HANA, and EPM reporting is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP BPC projects for planning, forecasting, and financial consolidation
- Conduct workshops to gather business requirements and define system design
- Configure BPC environments (Standard and/or Embedded), including dimensions, models, and script logic
- Manage master data, data loads, validations, and consolidation business rules
- Design and build reports using EPM Add-in or Analysis for Office
- Oversee integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, BW, and non-SAP data sources
- Support financial close, intercompany elimination, and audit trail processes
- Ensure governance, controls, and compliance with financial reporting standards
- Deliver user training, process documentation, and ongoing support
- Guide performance tuning, upgrades, and change management
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BPC (Standard or Embedded)
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA) is a plus
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
Experience
- 8–12 years of SAP BPC experience, with end-to-end implementation exposure
- At least 2 years in a managerial or lead consultant role
- Proven track record in financial planning and consolidation projects
- Experience with S/4HANA or BW/4HANA integrated scenarios
- At least 5 years of experience in the Banking Sector.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong configuration skills in BPC Standard and/or Embedded
- Deep understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes
- Expertise in script logic, business rules, and data manager packages
- Skilled in EPM Add-in reporting and Analysis for Office
- Good understanding of BPC security, authorizations, and data access controls
- Familiarity with IFRS/local GAAP, intercompany elimination, and consolidation of investments
