Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP Basis operations and system lifecycle management
- Manage installations, upgrades, support packages, and kernel updates
- Oversee performance tuning, system health checks, and proactive monitoring
- Design and maintain SAP landscape architecture and transport strategy
- Ensure secure user and role administration across systems
- Collaborate with DB, network, and OS teams for end-to-end support
- Define and implement system backup, disaster recovery, and high availability plans
- Resolve technical issues, support go-lives, and manage system outages
- Maintain documentation, system logs, and technical configuration records
- Support SAP integrations with third-party applications and cloud platforms
- Provide guidance on SAP roadmaps, sizing, and infrastructure planning
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- SAP Certified Technology Associate (Basis, HANA, or OS/DB Migration)
- Additional certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) are a plus
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
Experience
- 8–12 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Experience managing large-scale SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA)
- Exposure to cloud deployments and hybrid landscapes
- Proven track record of handling system migrations, upgrades, and performance tuning
- At least 5 years of Experience in the Banking Sector
Technical & Functional Skills
- Expertise in SAP Basis administration for ABAP and Java stacks
- Strong knowledge of HANA and traditional RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
- Experience in SAP landscape design, transport management, and client strategy
- Familiarity with Solution Expert, EarlyWatch, and system monitoring tools
- Understanding of network and infrastructure dependencies in SAP landscapes
- Knowledge of SAP security, audit readiness, and authorization concepts
- Experience with automation, scripting, and system orchestration tools is a plus

Work Environment & Conditions
- Consulting environment with responsibility for multiple client landscapes
- Travel may be required within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

- Participation in on-call rotation and weekend support during critical activities
- Exposure to a wide range of SAP systems and industry clients
