Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and Aramco-certified Safety Manager to lead and oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across pipeline and construction projects in the oil & gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing site-specific safety plans, ensuring strict adherence to Saudi Aramco HSE standards, and promoting a strong safety culture at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage all HSE activities on oil & gas construction and pipeline sites in accordance with Aramco standards.
· Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems and site-specific safety plans.
· Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to ensure regulatory and client compliance.
· Oversee incident and accident investigations; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
· Liaise with Saudi Aramco representatives during site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
· Ensure proper training, certification, and PPE compliance for all site personnel and subcontractors.
· Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports to project stakeholders.
· Lead toolbox talks, safety drills, and awareness campaigns to reinforce a proactive safety culture.
· Ensure compliance with local, national, and client-specific environmental and safety regulations.
· Supervise and mentor site safety officers and coordinate with other departments to address safety issues.
Requirements:
· Education & Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
· Valid Aramco Certification (Safety Manager or equivalent category) – mandatory.
· Recognized HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA 30/OSHA 511, ISO 45001, or CSP preferred.
Experience:
· 10 years of HSE experience in the oil & gas sector, with at least 5 years in construction and pipeline projects.
· Proven experience working on Saudi Aramco projects with strong familiarity with Aramco safety procedures, standards, and reporting requirements.
Skills:
· Excellent knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE standards, OSHA, and international safety regulations.
· Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
· Proficient in report writing, safety documentation, and incident investigation.
· Capable of managing multicultural teams in a high-risk environment.
· Work Conditions:
· Site-based role with frequent travel to remote project locations.
· Required to work in harsh environments and high-risk construction zones.
· Must be able to wear full PPE and pass Aramco medical and safety clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
· Previous approval as a Safety Manager by Saudi Aramco (SAP #).
