Job Summary:
The Receiving Team Leader At Neweast Isuzu Company Oversees The Accurate And Efficient Receipt, Inspection, And Documentation Of Incoming Isuzu Vehicles, Trucks, Spare Parts, And Related Inventory. This Role Ensures That All Inbound Shipments Align With Purchase Orders, Quality Standards, And Company Procedures, While Leading A Team To Maintain Seamless Receiving Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, Train, And Mentor Receiving Associates To Ensure Compliance With Workflows And Performance Targets.
- Assign Daily Tasks, Monitor Productivity, And Address Performance Gaps Through Coaching And Feedback.
- Foster A Collaborative And Safety-Driven Team Culture.
- Supervise The Unloading, Verification, And Inspection Of Incoming Shipments (Vehicles, Parts, And Materials).
- Cross-Check Received Goods Against Purchase Orders, Invoices, And Delivery Notes To Confirm Accuracy.
- Identify And Report Discrepancies (E.G., Damages, Shortages, Incorrect Items) To Procurement And Suppliers.
- Ensure Timely And Accurate Entry Of Received Inventory Into The Warehouse Management System (Wms).
- Organize And Label Goods For Efficient Storage, Maintaining Clear Documentation For Traceability.
- Coordinate With Inventory Control Teams To Resolve Stock Discrepancies.
- Enforce Quality Checks To Verify That Incoming Items Meet Neweast Isuzus Standards And Specifications.
- Ensure Compliance With Safety Protocols, Customs Regulations (If Applicable), And Documentation Requirements.
- Identify Bottlenecks In Receiving Workflows And Propose Solutions To Enhance Speed And Accuracy.
- Collaborate With Procurement, Logistics, And Warehouse Teams To Streamline Inbound Operations.
- Monitor Equipment (E.G., Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) Functionality And Report Maintenance Needs.
- Maintain A Clean, Organized, And Hazard-Free Receiving Area In Line With 5s Principles.
- Enforce Ppe Usage, Safe Lifting Practices, And Compliance With Osha/Local Safety Regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High School Diploma Or Equivalent (Certification In Logistics/Supply Chain Management Is A Plus).
- Experience: 3+ Years In Warehouse Receiving, Preferably In Automotive, Spare Parts, Or B2b Logistics.
- 1+ Years In A Supervisory Role.
- Proficiency In Wms, Erp Systems, And Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity With Barcode Scanners And Inventory Tracking Tools.
- Strong Leadership, Decision-Making, And Problem-Solving Abilities.
- Detail-Oriented With Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills.
