Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager to oversee and implement safety and quality standards across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, promote a safety-first culture, and drive continuous improvement in quality and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards and company objectives.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites and office facilities.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Promote a safety culture through training, awareness programs, and continuous communication.
- Ensure all activities comply with local, national, and international safety and environmental laws.
- Prepare and maintain QHSE documentation, reports, and records for audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety and quality standards are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics and recommend improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environment, or related field.
- Proven experience in QHSE management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of local safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 are preferred.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to safety management.
Preferred Attributes:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and influence safety culture across various teams.
- Certifications in HSE management or auditing are a plus.
